Welcome to our cozy family ranch nestled in the foothills of Loveland, Colorado. Our valley is surrounded by the stunning Carter Lake and diverse local wildlife. We specialize in breeding healthy and beautiful miniature and midsize Highland, HighPark and Jersey cattle as well as miniature donkeys. We offer farm fresh, free range eggs & pork.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!
We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Highland Hello Experience & Mercantile, welcoming visitors on select days each week! Our hours and days vary week to week. But our hours are updated 7 days in advance on our Google Business Listing. If you are looking for a day further than 7 days out please email or message us to find out our availability.
HOW TO MEET THE HIGHLANDS
We offer two options:
1. GENERAL ADMISSION

Rate is per person for admission into Highland Hello visiting area, during public hours.

Visitors can pet, brush and take pictures with the Highlands from outside of the pens.

You may also purchase cow treats for $6 per container.

Off season (Oct 15th-April 15th) M-Th $5 or F-Su $7

Peak season (April 16th-Oct 14th) M-Th $6 or F-Su $8
2. PRIVATE VISIT

During our Private Events, we shut our gates so that you and your guests have the sweet Highlands & shop to yourself!

These events allow you to go inside the pen with the minis to snuggle, brush, feed treats and get adorable pictures along the way.

During your visit, you will learn about Highlands, genetics and each cow at the ranch.

You also have the opportunity to feed our bottle calf during your visit.

Each guest receives a container of cow treats and tricks on how to get the best photos!

Why Mini Highland & HighParks?
In addition to their adorable look, long hair, diverse color, and stunning horns; Highlands are known for their docile and sociable nature. Due to their smaller size, compared to commercial cows, highlands can be grazed in higher numbers on less land or the perfect addition to a smaller homestead.
Size Expectations
We breed Micro/Mini and Mini/Midsize Highlands.
Our focus is on the designer highland market, catering to those looking to adopt them as pets or incorporate them into breeding programs. Because we do not raise our cattle for meat, we prefer our highlands small; achieving this by breeding our chondro micro bull to our mini/mid size cows. Calf sizes are estimated from the Dam & Sire size, but may vary depending on what genetics they inherit from down the line, so not guaranteed.

EGG SALES
We have over 70 chickens here at the ranch! Our chickens free range making their yolks rich and delicious. There is nothing like farm fresh eggs. This portion of our ranch is run by our boys. They tend to the chickens & collect the eggs daily.
If you see the yellow egg flag out at the shop, we have them in stock! Come on in to buy your eggs.
